18 Years of 7115
A letter from Szeki
This summer, 7115 turns 18.
It’s a number that we knew was on the horizon. We often share the story of 7115 with new and familiar faces alike, and the pace of the fashion calendar always has us thinking seasons ahead. In some ways, I’ve been reflecting on these 18 years for a while now.
Eighteen feels like a gentle coming of age. More than anything, it brings me back to the people who made this path possible. What began with a simple idea, limited means, and a deep belief in making clothing with care has grown slowly, allowing us to stay independent and shaped at every step by the people who chose to stay with us.
I often return to a line from Margaret Mead, quoted in my favorite show, The West Wing: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” It has stayed with me because it feels close to our own story. 7115 has been carried here by a small, devoted group of people.
That group is you.
I think of the customers who came back season after season, wrote kind notes, visited our stores while traveling, brought in friends and family, and kept wearing pieces bought years ago. It was through those gestures, this community became real.
By choosing 7115, trusting our designs, and believing in the quality behind them, you have given life to this studio. Your steady support over the past 18 years has carried us through difficult moments and made hard decisions clearer. Because of you, my loyalty will always be to this community first. You are the reason we can continue making small-batch, artful, lasting clothing, and you will always keep me honest.
As we mark this moment, I wanted to share something back to the people that have kept us going. Starting this month, we’ll be sharing a series of community offerings and monthly perks through the end of 2026. Some will be practical, some more personal, but all of them are meant simply as a thank you.
I know there are many choices out there, and I never take it lightly when someone chooses to support independent work. Thank you for being part of these 18 years. I’m deeply grateful you’re here.

A space close to home and where it all initially began — Clinton St. 7115 was here briefly before moving to the original Rivington space.

And here is LES after a quick update just this past couple of months, in 2026.

Reminiscing some of our storefronts and evolutions throughout the years. Here's our quaint LES shop in 2016.

2014 was the year we opened the doors to our Williamsburg store and this was the first edition of the space.

And in 2017, we did a little refresh and installed the iconic peg board walls that some of you might remember fondly.

The most recent refresh of the Williamsburg space took place in the late summer and early spring of 2022 as a collaboration with our friends over at FRAMA.

Moments in our old studio on Clinton St.

And we're always looking into the little details and staying curious.

Here we are with our production team in Guangzhou City. It's truly a team effort ♡

We've done a handful of trade shows over the years and here's a glimpse of the SS20 collection presentation at CIFF in Denmark.

Countless photoshoots.

We said hello to our Copenhagen storefront in 2019 and it marked our third 7115 store and first ever international location. It was also our biggest space yet.

Built upon our mantra of 'less is more' we've kept the decor sparse and minimal, allowing the clothing to be the highlight and focus.

Our 2024 holiday card brings our team members from New York, Copenhagen, and Amsterdam together in one frame. It was illustrated by the very talented Wing from our CPH team.

Our small but mighty New York team are the friendly and helpful voices behind the answers to all your questions, whether you're reaching out online or visiting us in-store.

Our Thanksgiving tradition. Year after year, rain or shine, no matter how cold it gets, you’ve always made your way there and always early. Without fail, you always bring smiles to our team and make the work so much more fun.

And in the newest chapter in the 7115 story, we prepped the opening of our second European store in Amsterdam the summer of 2023.

A handwritten note that greets everyone who graces our studio store. A little history of the brand and and what we do.

Located in the vibrant, De Pijp, which we now call home, our tranquil space is a studio store concept, featuring many discontinued editions, 7115 some goods and and small object handmade by Szeki.
